It's never an easy discovery. But it happens to all of us. I still think of myself as someone in their late twenties or early thirties. That is until I meet someone in either age group. Then the difference becomes all too apparent.
Things that were important to me are no longer important and other things have become incredibly important.
I guess the biggest change is health...I have things in my medicine cabinet I never thought I would...things I only saw in my grandparents' cabinet. And my husband and I and our friends engage in conversations about health and well-being...and we compare medications. When did this happen?
I guess it's a rite of passage. Something I should accept. I thought about fighting it but really...who cares? We all get middle aged...and older. Why should I take it sitting down though...well I won't. Instead I'll share my adventures (and/or trials) with you. Maybe you'll share yours. I hope so.
