I’m a classic girl…Chanel all the way. Chanel #5 for evening events in the spring, and summer.
For the colder months, I prefer Coco. And for days in between, I like Coco Mademoiselle, Chance, and Allure. While Chanel #5 was iconic for my mother's generation, I think Coco is truly a scent for my generation.
Not to be forgotten are the Chanel men's fragrances...I'm a huge fan of Antaeus. It's an oldie but a goodie...if you catch my drift!
I’m a Vera Wang fan too. Many designers make the leap to perfume production but not many excel. That said, I don’t agree that all her fragrances are top notch…some are for the money only (same goes for my VW mattress). Sheer Veil, Truly Pink, and Princess are my fave VW scents. I also have Rock Princess and Glam Princess and while they’re nice, I’d hardly classify them as her best work. I don't have her signature frangrance, Vera Wang, nor have I tried her new one, Preppy Princess.
And out there in the cold…for days when neither Chanel nor Vera will do, I have Calvin Klein. His One fragrance will always be a great summer go-to for me. I have also Obsession and Obsession Night. Both okay fragrances but neither ones I wear that often. I do however wear Eternity more than I thought I would.
And on those days when a more natural scent is what I want, I turn to The Body Shop’s Cassis Rose…perfect and pink.
